The draw has been completed for the Baltic Sea Darts Open which is set to take place between July 11-13 in Kiel with Rob Cross as the current defending champion.
Cross will face either Raymond van Barneveld or Andy Baetens in the second round. He headlines the 48-player field which also includes Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall.
Among the first round ties include Mike de Decker v Mensur Suljovic. Andy Baetens faces Van Barneveld as alluded to while Jermaine Wattimena takes on Callan Rydz. Kim Huybrechts will also renew his rivalry with Ian White.
Daryl Gurney will also take on Martin Lukeman. Humphries takes on either Mickey Mansell or Miroslaw Grudziecki in the second round. Stephen Bunting is second seed and faces the winner of an all-German showdown between Springer and Troppmann.
While Jonny Clayton takes on either Van Veen or Johan Engstrom in what could be a meeting of The Ferret and The Sweet Ferret. Gerwyn Price is also involved and will face either William O'Connor or Tytus Kanik.
The German European Tour King Martin Schindler will face Jermaine Wattimena or Callan Rydz. While former champion Dave Chisnall will face Gurney or Lukeman in a top second round meeting in Kiel.
Nathan Aspinall begins his campaign against either Pietreczko or Bialecki. While Gary Anderson also returns to face either Richard Veenstra or Krzysztof Ratajski for a place in the Last 16.
Australia's number one Damon Heta could meet Wessel Nijman while Chris Dobey prepares to face either a super in-form Dirk van Duijvenbode or Ryan Meikle.
The ninth European Tour event of the season, it marks the return of these tournaments after a while without the weekend action. Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Ryan Joyce, Michael Smith and Andrew Gilding though have all withdrawn. They are replaced by Mickey Mansell, William O'Connor, Kim Huybrechts, Richard Veenstra and Niko Springer. Martin Schindler and Ryan Searle become seeds.
