The Zenith in Munich will host the battle for final victory at the German Darts Grand Prix over the Easter weekend. Just about the entire world's top players have signed up for the Euro Tour tournament to be played from Saturday, April 19, to Monday, April 21.

From the top-16 of the world rankings, only Chris Dobey and Gary Anderson are absent. World champion Luke Littler, world number one Luke Humphries and three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen will play in the southern German city. They will face competition from Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Peter Wright, James Wade and Josh Rock, among others.

They, like the other players from the top-16 of the placement list, have been directly admitted to the second round at the fourth Euro Tour event of 2025. This also applies further to Jonny Clayton, Dave Chisnall, Damon Heta, Danny Noppert, Dimitri van den Bergh, Ross Smith and Andrew Gilding.

The top-16 players invited via the Pro Tour Order of Merit, like all winners of the various qualifying tournaments, must start in the first round. So Ryan Searle, Mike de Decker, Ritchie Edhouse, Cameron Menzies, Michael Smith, Joe Cullen, Krzysztof Ratajski and Scott Williams, among others, will be in action during the opening day on Saturday, April 19.

The 16 winners of the first round will then be paired with a player from the top 16 on the seedings list. The matches from the second round will take place on Sunday, April 20, followed by the third round in the afternoon session on Monday afternoon, April 21. On the same day, the quarter-finals, semifinals and finals will be completed consecutively in the evening.

It is the seventh time the German Darts Grand Prix has been held. Van Gerwen won the first edition in Mannheim in 2017. A year later, the tournament moved to Munich, where Van Gerwen would also take the title in 2018 and 2019. Due to the corona pandemic, the event did not take place in 2020 and 2021. Upon returning to the calendar, Humphries captured the title in 2022. Michael Smith ran away with the title in 2023, before Humphries took the title for a second time in 2024.
