The organization behind World Seniors Darts has announced the first participants for the 2026 World Seniors Darts Championship. Defending champion Ross Montgomery will be among them, and four other players have also been revealed.
John Henderson, the 2024 champion, has also accepted his invitation to the World Seniors Darts Championship. His participation, however, is subject to the situation of not holding a PDC Tour Card in 2026. Players with Tour Cards are not allowed to participate in TV events of another organization.
Robert Thornton, winner of the 2022 and 2023 editions, is also among the field of participants. Furthermore, the participation of Richie Howson and Australian darts legend Simon Whitlock has been confirmed.
It was previously announced that the next edition of the World Seniors Darts Championship will take place from Feb. 19 to 21, 2026. As in past years, the tournament will be played at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet.
