Former World Championship standout wins Asian Tour title, first triumph for Keita Ono
PDC

Man Lok Leung and Keita Ono won the final two tournaments of this weekend's Asian Tour on Sunday. For Leung, it was his sixth career Asian Tour title.

Leung began his tournament with a 4-0 win over Hon Wai Chau, before beating Yuya Fukuchi (4-2) and Yuya Higuchi (4-3) for a spot in the last sixteen. This was followed by whitewash victories over Ho Tung Ching (4-0), Ryuta Arihara (4-0) and Xiaochen Zong (5-0).

In the final, Leung was then 5-3 too strong for Ryusei Azemoto, putting the Hong Kong dart player back in the top four of the Asian Tour Order of Merit. At the 2023 World Darts Championship, Leung previously got to compete at Alexandra Palace and then he impressed with an impressive victory over Gian van Veen.

There was also a first tournament victory for Keita Ono on the Asian Tour. During Event 8, he defeated Jinwook Lee (4-0), Masato Arita (4-2), Melvin Zheng (4-0), Yuma Kimura (4-3), Man Lok Leung (4-3), Mitsuhiko (5-2) and Motomu Sakai (5-1) for the title.
