Gerwyn Price a record holder this year with 4 Pro Tour titles - Heading for record number of different winners and finalists

Last weekend's Baltic Sea Darts Open was the 30th tournament of the PDC Pro Tour 2025. With eighteen tournaments to go, there is a good chance to have a record number of different winners and finalists this year.

The PDC Pro Tour embraces the 34 tournaments of the Players Championship and the 14 tournaments of the European Tour. Last weekend, the ninth tournament of the European Tour 2025 took place with the Baltic Sea Darts Open. The final victory in the Wunderino Arena in Kiel went to Gerwyn Price, who beat Gary Anderson 8-3 in the final.

Price is the eighth different winner on the 2025 European Tour after nine tournaments. Only Nathan Aspinall already managed to win two Euro Tours this year (European Darts Trophy and European Darts Open).

Diversity

The variety of winners at the Players Championship also stands out. After 21 tournaments, we have seventeen different winners. Only Price (three titles) and Chris Dobey (two titles) won multiple tournaments.

As a result, there is a good chance that we will break the record of several winners this year. With eighteen tournaments to go we already have 20 different winners, the record currently stands at 24 different winners.

The record of several finalist is also in danger of being broken. Currently we already have 36 different finalists this year, the record stands at 39.

Counting wins at the Players Championship and European Tour together, Gerwyn Price leads the list with four titles, ahead of Chris Dobey, Gary Anderson, Nathan Aspinall, Martin Schindler, Jonny Clayton and Stephen Bunting with two Pro Tour titles each.

The PDC Pro Tour now lies dormant for several weeks and pulls itself together again on Tuesday, July 29, when the 22nd Players Championship of the year is scheduled in Hildesheim, Germany.

The Baltic Sea Darts Open was the 30th tournament on the Pro Tour this year. With 18 more to come there is a good chance of seeing new records for different winners and finalists.
