How much prize money can Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price earn at Swiss Darts Trophy 2025

The 2025 Swiss Darts Trophy will be the thirteenth of fourteen PDC European Tour events on the 2025 ProTour. The tournament will take place at St Jakobshalle, Basel, Switzerland from 26-28 September 2025. At stake is a prize fund of £175,000, including £30,000 for the winner.

It will feature a field of 48 players with Martin Schindler being the defending champion after defeating Ryan Searle 12 months ago in the final 8-7. Luke Humphries is top seed this time around alongside Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and James Wade with Gerwyn Price, Josh Rock, Gary Anderson and Peter Wright also in the top 16 alongside the defending champion.

Luke Littler has not entered this time around in Basel. Gian van Veen leads the ProTour Order of Merit Qualifiers, Wessel Nijman and Cameron Menzies as well as Nathan Aspinall, Raymond van Barneveld, Daryl Gurney and Mike de Decker also qualify this way. Only Hildesheim and the German Darts Championship remains to conclude the European Tour season as the race to Dortmund is completed over the next two events.

It is £12,000 to the runner-up in Basel. The semi-finalists claim £8,500. While Quarter-Finalists are set to seal £6,000. Third round losers are in for £4,000. While for losing in the second round it is £2,500. For being defeated in the first round, it is £1,250. This gleams an overall prize fund of £175,000.

Due to changes this year, seeded players who lose in the second round of the event shall not be credited with prize money on the Order of Merit. A player who qualifies as a qualifier but later becomes a seed due to a withdrawal shall be credited with their prize money no matter how far they progress e.g often Martin Schindler as the top ProTour seed gets in as a top 16 player due to withdrawals.
