This weekend the Flanders Darts Trophy is the tenth European Tour tournament. Of course, current world champion Luke Littler is also present, but it remains to be seen in what form 'The Nuke' will appear in Antwerp.
The 18-year-old recently posted a story on his official Instagram account in which he revealed that he had a tooth pulled at the dentist. He still suffers greatly from it, but still hopes to find his best game at the Flanders Darts Trophy. "In pain for hours and hours so had to get (my) tooth out. Luckily they were able to do it and sort me out but hopefully it's all good for Saturday. Everyone knows I love Belgium and hopefully I can play my best darts," Littler began.
'The Nuke' revealed that this is the first time he has had his tooth pulled, so he does not know how he will react to it. "I don't know how I'm going to be feeling in the morning whether I'm gonna have my airpods in and I'm gonna be doing my own thing. So don't be saying I'm arrogant because I'm not I've never had this done and I don't know how I'm gonna be feeling but right now I'm in shock and shaken as I didn't know what to expect," he further explained.
Littler will face Dylan Slevin at the Flanders Darts Trophy, who earlier this afternoon defeated Belgian Francois Schweyen in the first round. Last year the 18-year-old lost in the third round in Antwerp after going down 6-2 to Dirk van Duijvenbode. He will want to advance this year, but it will be a question mark how 'The Nuke' appears on the oche after his sudden visit to the dentist.
