Nathan Aspinall heads to Copenhagen full of belief as he prepares to take part in the Nordic Darts Masters, buoyed by his second European Tour title of the season.
The 32-year-old bounced back impressively after a narrow semi-final defeat to Luke Humphries in last week’s Premier League play-offs. While his fellow semi-finalists opted for a break, Aspinall travelled straight to Leverkusen for the European Darts Open – and reaped the rewards.
There, ‘The Asp’ produced another strong showing to secure his second Euro Tour crown of 2025, adding to his earlier success at the European Darts Trophy in Göttingen.
“To bounce back after the defeat last Thursday and win in Leverkusen, it shows where my game's at at the moment,” Aspinall told the PDC. “If you want something you have to fight, to believe you can do it."
“When things are not going your way, you have to keep fighting, believing that you can get back to your best," adds 'The Asp'. “That's what I do, week-in and week-out, and the last few weeks have been pretty good.”
Indeed, Aspinall has earned over £100,000 in prize money across recent events, underlining his status as one of the most in-form players on the circuit.
He’ll return to the stage on Friday evening in Copenhagen, where he faces Danish Tour Card holder Benjamin Reus in the opening round. Victory would set up a quarter-final clash against either Luke Littler or Viktor Tingstrom.
The 2025 Mr Vegas Nordic Darts Masters begins tonight, as the Forum Copenhagen plays host to the fifth staging of the World Series of Darts event!
