Luke Humphries and Rob Cross face each other for the second week in a row in Premier League Darts 2025. On the fifth night in Brighton, Humphries is chasing his third evening victory of the season.
The world number one has made a fantastic start to the season. The 30-year-old Englishman already won two playing days in Belfast and Exeter and also reached the final in Glasgow.
With 15 points, he has a seven-point lead over his nearest rival, 18-year-old sensation Luke Littler. Last week, he defeated Littler in the final of the fourth night of play in Exeter.

Humphries also had success against Cross and Gerwyn Price in Exeter, excelling against Cross with three checkouts of 100+ points in a thrilling semifinal. At the Brighton Centre, Humphries will once again face Cross. He is determined to continue his strong start to the season.
“To be on 15 points after four nights is fantastic, but there’s still a long way to go,” said Humphries who won in Brighton 12 months ago.
“I’m really looking forward to the rest of the season, but I’m going to make sure I don’t relax and think I’m almost there [in the top four], because that is when it starts to affect you.
“I can take great confidence from last week into Brighton, but I have to keep working hard to try and pick up those nightly wins!”
Luke Humphries and Rob Cross will renew their rivalry on Night Five of the BetMGM Premier League in Brighton, as Humphries targets a third nightly win of the campaign.
