Josh Rock hit his sixth nine-dart finish on the PDC circuit on Wednesday during Players Championship 12, delivering a moment of perfection against Matt Campbell in their third-round clash.
The match saw Campbell make a strong start, racing into a 2-0 lead. However, Rock—nicknamed ‘Rocky’—fought back to take three consecutive legs and edge ahead 3-2. Campbell managed to level the match at 3-3, setting the stage for Rock’s moment of brilliance.
In the seventh leg, the Northern Irishman kicked off with back-to-back 180s before sealing the perfect leg with a superb 141 checkout. He went on to extend his lead to 5-3 and eventually closed out the match with a 6-4 victory.
Rock’s latest nine-darter adds another milestone to his fast-growing résumé on the PDC tour.
