Mervyn King latest confirmed for World Seniors World Championship 2026

The highly decorated former World Master and World Championship finalist joins our line-up for the Circus Tavern tournament next February.

The event will be played in Romford on February 19th-21th. The fifth staging of the tournament will offer a £50,000 first place prize.

Ross Montgomery is the current defending champion. The Scot defeated Graham Usher 5-1 in last year’s final. Ross Montgomery, also known as ‘The Boss’ took home the top prize of £30,000 last year. He also continued a Scottish winning streak, following in the footsteps of previous champions John Henderson and Robert Thornton. Will he win it again or is it time for someone else to step up to the plate.

So far we have 15 players who have confirmed they will be participating next year, these players are, Ross Montgomery, John Henderson, Robert Thornton, Richie Howson, Simon Whitlock, Steve Beaton, Darryl Fitton, Tony O'Shea, Neil Duff, Trina Gulliver, Vincent Van Der Voort, Martin Adams, Ronny Huybrechts, Kevin Painter and now Mervyn King.
