The PDC Pro Tour continues to showcase its growing international flavor, with the latest Players Championship event marking a significant milestone: ten consecutive tournaments without an English winner.

This streak, confirmed in a tweet by @TheRedBit180, highlights just how global the sport of darts has become. The run began after Joe Cullen’s win at PC5. Since then, titles have been shared between players from Poland, Wales, Australia, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Germany, and the Netherlands. Most recently, Poland’s Krzysztof Ratajski triumphed at PC15, with other winners in the streak including Gerwyn Price (twice), Jonny Clayton, Damon Heta, Cameron Menzies, Josh Rock, Martin Schindler, Gary Anderson, and Gian van Veen.

What makes this stat particularly striking is the depth of English talent on the tour. With world-class names like Luke Humphries, Michael Smith, and Nathan Aspinall in the mix at every event, it’s rare to go this long without an English champion. But it’s also a testament to the rising standard across the board.

As the Pro Tour heads toward the halfway mark of the season, this run underlines how competitive and unpredictable the circuit has become — and how darts truly is a global game.

The action continues today in Hildesheim with Players Championship 16.
