No one has lost to Luke Littler as often as these two Premier League players
Simon O’Connor/PDC

At a rapid pace, Luke Littler has stormed the world top and few top players have a positive record against the English teenage sensation, who crowned himself the youngest world champion ever early this year.

Littler is currently in his second Premier League season and has met most of the top players more than 10 times through this competition as well as several other PDC tournaments. But there are two well-known players who meanwhile have a very bad record against the 18-year-old Englishman.

Nobody lost to Littler as often as Rob Cross and Nathan Aspinall. Both Englishmen had to swallow a total of thirteen defeats against the young phenomenon. Of these two, Aspinall has the worst record against Littler. 'The Asp' won only one of the fourteen encounters. Cross does only slightly better, as 'Voltage' has recorded two victories in fifteen matches between them.

Aspinall only managed to win the third encounter with Littler, which means that 'The Nuke' is now 11 matches in a row unbeaten against Aspinall, five of them in this Premier League. However, it is also not the case that Aspinall is often completely blown away by his compatriot. In eleven of the thirteen defeats, the difference was a maximum of three legs.

Against other top players such as Michael van Gerwen and Luke Humphries, Littler also has more than ten wins on his record. Littler won 12 of his 20 encounters with Van Gerwen, and in addition, Littler was victorious in 11 of the 20 duels against Humphries.

Wessel Nijman and Gerwyn Price are one of the few players who do have a good record against the English teenager. Price drew the longest in seven of the total of thirteen confrontations between them. With Nijman, the score is 6-3 in favor of the Dutchman. It should be noted that Nijman recorded five of his six wins over Littler when both players were still active on the Development Tour.
