Alexis Toylo (two titles), Paolo Nebrida and Motomu Sakai (both one title) were the big winners at the past tournament weekend on the PDC Asian Tour, but Noel Malicdem also managed to steal the show at the four events in Singapore.

The 48-year-old Filipino managed to throw the highest average ever on the Asian Tour. During the 20th event of the Asian Tour 2025 on Sunday, he threw a whopping 115.62 average.

Malicdem recorded that average in his second match against Jing Hann Dane Tan. Malicdem started the match with two 14-darters, before making it 3-0 with an 11-darter. Then the Asian rounded out the match with a 13-darter.

With his average of 115.62, Malicdem edged the record held by Lok Yin Lee, who had thrown a 113.43 average on the Asian Tour in 2023. Malicdem also provided another milestone, as he is the first darter to have thrown two 110+ averages on the Asian Tour.

He previously threw a 110.51 average at an Asian Tour tournament in 2018. Ryusei Azemoto (111.83), Reynaldo Rivera (110.51) and Lourence Ilagan (110.32) are the other players who have ever thrown a 110+ average on the Asian Tour.

Malicdem is no stranger to the Asian Tour. In the past, he managed to qualify for the 2019 and 2020 World Championship editions. During the 2020 edition, Malicdem was even one arrow away from a win over Peter Wright, who even ended up becoming world champion at Alexandra Palace. After 2019, Malicdem did not manage to win any more tournaments on the Asian Tour, which also kept World Cup placement out of reach.
