The Nordic Darts Masters sees the return of the World Series of Darts. Our article features the field, results, schedule, Prize Money, Predictions and how to watch the action from Copenhagen between June 6-7.
Taking place at Forum Copenhagen, it is the fifth staging and sees top PDC names, eight in all face eight Nordic and Baltic/regional qualifiers mainly made up of top players from the region most of whom have Tour Cards.
Gerwyn Price is defending champion having won last year defeating Rob Cross 8-5 in the final. Both return this year for another crack at the title with the winner sealing £30,000 for this World Series tournament. In addition it is also the first route towards Amsterdam and the World Series Finals at the turn of the year.
The field is technically led seeding wise by Stephen Bunting who is number one seed alongside Rob Cross, Gerwyn Price and Luke Littler for this event. Albeit this perhaps isn't a true reflection with players like Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall being non seeds.
Jonny Clayton also joins the fray while Chris Dobey has received a sudden chance after the withdrawal of Michael van Gerwen who is out due to splitting with long-time wife Daphne. He has decided to take some time out for the foreseeable. Luke Humphries also leads the way while they take on Nordic and Baltic players.
This led by Madars Razma as well as Jeffrey de Graaf, Oskar Lukasiak, Cor Dekker, Viktor Tingstrom as well as Benjamin Reus. Andreas Harrysson and Darius Labanauskas too are involved. It is mostly made up of former PDC Tour Card holders who will take on the big names.

Worldwide it will also be shown on a myriad of different broadcast partners including DAZN and Viaplay for instance in Germany and the Netherlands. Outside of the UK including the US, it will be shown on PDCTV which is exclusively for watchers not in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The whole of the tournament follows the same pattern with the session starting at 6pm every night and ending at 10 with the first round being on Friday 6 June and the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final taking Centre Stage on Saturday 7 June as a champion will be crowned.

Samuel Gill for DartsNews.com sees a potential outsider winning this title. "I think that Jonny Clayton is a potential title winner here based solely because of his recent form on the European Tour. He has received a chance here and while most other players will be burned out, he will be one who potentially thrives from it."
"Of course shoe in the likes of Luke Humphries and Luke Littler to the list but the motivation factor of playing in Copenhagen has to be questioned especially with the World Cup so soon after so it could be a time for another player to shine."
Pieter Verbeek, writer for DartsNieuws.com sees the more likely outcome though: "The regional players should be capable of giving the PDC stars a tough time at the Nordic Darts Masters. Perhaps Andreas Harrysson and Jeffrey de Graaf can cause an upset against Rob Cross and Chris Dobey, respectively. However, a role in the battle for the title seems out of the question. Personally, I expect another showdown between Luke Littler and Luke Humphries in the final, with Littler coming out on top this time."
