PDC Players Championship 15 Highest Averages | James Wade, Dave Chisnall & Gian van Veen star in Hildesheim

The scoring power was on full display at Players Championship 15 in Hildesheim, with a string of remarkable averages lighting up the board throughout the day. From explosive early-round performances to consistent brilliance in the latter stages, fans were treated to some of the sharpest darts seen on the ProTour this year.

Leading the way statistically was James Wade, who averaged a staggering 108.62 in his opening-round win over Ryan Meikle. ‘The Machine’ wasn’t the only one firing on all cylinders in that match — Meikle also impressed, despite defeat, with a superb 105.91. Wade’s run came to an end in the very next round, as he was edged out 6-5 by Ireland’s Keane Barry.

Finalist Dave Chisnall produced the second-highest average of the day, hitting 108.16 during his 6-4 victory over Darius Labanauskas in the last 64. The Englishman also managed another ton-plus effort (104.28) earlier in the tournament, underlining his strong scoring form on the day.

Gian van Veen claimed the third spot on the leaderboard with a 107.41 average in a commanding 6-3 win over Nathan Rafferty. The young Dutchman made it to the quarter-finals before falling to compatriot Danny Noppert, who himself posted two top-15 averages — 106.72 and 103.57 — on his way to a solid run.

Elsewhere, Gary Anderson (107.17), Kevin Doets (104.86), Mike De Decker (104.31), Michael Smith (104.01), and Ross Smith (102.56) all featured prominently in the top averages list, further proving the level of competition on the day.

The tournament itself was won by Krzysztof Ratajski, who defeated Chisnall 8-4 in the final to clinch his first PDC ranking title since 2023. The Polish star also registered an average of 102.48 en route to the trophy, rounding off a day where heavy scoring and clinical finishing were the order of the day.
