Night Two of the 2025 Premier League Darts was marred by crowd trouble as the players consistently had to deal with whistling from those in attendance in Glasgow. So bad was the situation, that the PDC has now been forced to make a statement on the situation.

In the opening match of the night, Rob Cross was hounded by those in attendance as Littler fought back from 5-1 down to take a 6-5 win. Then, in the semi-finals, it was Gerwyn Price's turn to feel the Glasgow crowds wrath, although the Welshman made sure to give them a taste of their own medicine after firing in a 180. Then even in the final, as Littler and Luke Humphries did battle for the first time in 2025, whistles from the crowd affected both players as they threw.

In a statement posted widely, the PDC has said the following: "Following Thursday's Premier League Darts night in Glasgow, the PDC wishes to strongly reiterate that it does not condone any behaviour which can disrupt an event, such as whistling or booing when players are throwing."

"Every player goes on stage with the intention of performing to the best of their ability and providing an entertaining spectacle for all fans, whether in the venue or watching worldwide," the statement continues. "As per the terms and conditions of entry to events, spectators who act inappropriately can be removed from the venue. The PDC works closely with Premier League venues, who have responsibility for crowd control, to take proactive and decisive action against those who behave inappropriately."

"The vast majority of fans who attend our sell-out events on a regular basis also condemn this behaviour and we will continue to promote a positive atmosphere which gives all players the opportunity to play to the best of their ability in every match," conclude the PDC.
