PDC Women's Series Order of Merit Update: How did Beau Greaves, Fallon Sherrock and Noa-Lynn van Leuven fare after Rosmalen opener?

Noa-Lynn van Leuven moved up to second place on the Women's Series Order of Merit after winning two Women's Series titles on Saturday. This spot will entitle her to participate in the World Darts Championship at the end of the season.

Van Leuven had failed to reach a semifinal at the Women's Series earlier this season, but on home soil she showed her best play of the season. With the two titles, she earned 4,000 pounds in prize money, moving her up to second place in the women's rankings in one fell swoop.

At 5,400 pounds, Van Leuven still has a huge gap on leading lady Beau Greaves, who leads the rankings with 11,500 pounds. Behind Van Leuven, Lisa Ashton (5,000 pounds) and Fallon Sherrock (4,900 pounds) follow close behind.

Greaves had a pretty unsuccessful opener to her weekend albeit she lost in the second event to Van Leuven in the latter stages. But she is pretty much safe in the knowledge that she will remain top anyway.

For Fallon Sherrock in particular, it will be about usurping Ashton into third. With potential doubts about Greaves playing in the PDC World Darts Championship, she will hope to be in pole position in case of a snub. Albeit with the extended field at Ally Pally, it could still lend itself to the third or even fourth player getting a call-up which in turn would wider the net further.

How much prize money is up for grabs at the PDC Women's Series?

If there are at least 128 players competing, the PDC Women's Series participants will be awarded prizes from the last 64, with fifty pounds for reaching this round. If there are fewer than 128 players, the counter only starts running from the last 32. In that case they do collect one hundred pounds.

This amount eventually keeps increasing. A final place already earns 1,000 pounds anyway. The winner of the tournament receives 2,000 pounds in prize money. The number one of the Women's Series Order of Merit gets to compete at the Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Darts Championship, while the number two also gets to compete at Alexandra Palace.
