The Poland Darts Masters is due to take place between 4-5 July 2025 with the top names set to return to World Series of Darts action in the final foray to Europe of the summer.
When the World Series returns, it will be in Australia and New Zealand and so this is the final visit to this part of the world. Always a success and selling out almost immediately.
Luke Littler won his second World Series title, defeating Rob Cross 8–3 last year and both will return this year aiming to go all the way again.
The field does not see Luke Humphries included who will return in Kiel on the European Tour instead at the Baltic Sea Darts Open.
So in join Jonny Clayton and Chris Dobey who will be involved in the coming days in Gliwice. Apart from that the contingent widely stays the same with only Humphries and Damon Heta replaced from the New York line-up.

Samuel Gill, Head Editor of DartsNews.com sees Jonny Clayton sealing the win.
Jonny Clayton for me is the likely benefactor of the fact that he didn't go to the US. Instead it was Damon Heta picked for that slot.
No jetlag so proven that he and Chris Dobey will likely fly into contention while others will take a while to warm up. Luke Littler is in no form, while others apart from Nathan Aspinall flattered to deceive in New York.
So Clayton then Dobey are my favourites. Perhaps outside bets but considering all factors in this one.

Mats Leering, writer for DartsNieuws.com moots a Gerwyn Price title but sees more than one option. With the absence of Luke Humphries and the good form of players like Gerwyn Price and Nathan Aspinall, I think one of these two is most likely to win. Michael van Gerwen also left a good impression in America last weekend after a period of absence, so that is definitely someone to keep an eye on as well.
Luke Littler is always a contender but I don't feel he is playing at the top of his game at the moment, leaving opportunities for others. Among the Eastern European representatives, I think Krzysztof Ratajski and Karel Sedlacek are two dangerous outsiders who could go far with a favourable draw.

Nicolas Gayer, writer for DartsNews.DE Starting with the local representatives once again: I’m particularly intrigued to see how Karel Sedlacek will perform. In truly world-class fashion, he helped carry his nation to the quarter-finals at the World Cup of Darts, and his individual stats once again showed he can go toe-to-toe with any player on the Pro Tour.
If the draw falls his way, I firmly believe Evil Charlie is capable of causing one or two big upsets this weekend.Among the PDC stars, I’m expecting a statement performance from Luke Littler. Premier League nights aside, the 18-year-old has now gone nearly four months without lifting a title – and I think that drought ends on Saturday evening. With the World Matchplay just around the corner, I expect Littler to refocus, shift into top gear, and claim the trophy in Gliwice as the perfect launchpad for his Triple Crown ambitions in Blackpool.
I also expect Michael van Gerwen to show improved form following his recent return, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see in-form Premier League semi-finalists Gerwyn Price and Nathan Aspinall go deep in this World Series event as well.

Pieter Verbeek, Editor for DartsNieuws.com sees Luke Littler still as the man to beat.
"Luke Littler remains my top favourite to win these kinds of tournaments, especially when his main rival Luke Humphries is absent. Littler certainly didn’t play badly in New York either, but was unfortunate to run into a razor-sharp Nathan Aspinall in the quarter-finals. As a result, Littler was eliminated despite averaging 108.89.
Aspinall, the runner-up in New York, and Gerwyn Price are Littler’s main challengers in Gliwice. Michael van Gerwen also made a decent impression last week, in his first tournament in over a month — perhaps 'Mighty Mike' now has a better chance of contending for the title with a bit more rhythm. Stephen Bunting and Jonny Clayton are the two other outsiders for me.
From the list of local players, Krzysztof Ratajski is the main one who could cause an upset. With a favourable draw, ‘The Polish Eagle’ might be able to put together a strong run in front of his home crowd.

Mees Dekker, writer for DartsNieuws.com sees Aspinall bouncing back in style. I don’t think we’re going to see many surprises from the Polish players in this tournament, unfortunately. The only ones I still have some expectations for are Ratajski and Sedlacek. Sedlacek played very well at the World Cup of Darts, so a lot may depend on who he draws. Ratajski is another outsider worth mentioning. He tends to stay under the radar, but playing on home soil, he might just seize his chance.
Now that Luke Humphries isn’t competing, I see Price, Littler or Aspinall as the most likely winners of the Poland Darts Masters. Aspinall was in incredible form in the U.S., throwing some unbelievable averages. And with Littler and Price also in great shape, it goes without saying that they’re strong contenders for the title as well. I don’t expect Van Gerwen to be at a high enough level yet to really challenge for the win, but the first round shouldn't pose any problems for him. Overall, I think it might be a rather uneventful tournament in terms of upsets. I don’t really see anyone from Eastern Europe making it through. But let’s hope for some surprises, because they always make a tournament much more exciting.

While Kieran Wood, writer for DartsNews.com sees Humphries winning back-to-back. As is the case at every tournament they participate, when it comes to picking a pre-tournament favourite, it is hard to look past the two Lukes, with Humphries especially having momentum this time around having won in New York last time out.
Elsewhere meanwhile, Krzysztof Ratajski will no doubt be fired up and keen to impress in front of his home crowd. Sebastian Bialecki has long been touted as a potential star of the future too, so this marks a great opportunity to impress for the young Pole.
