From Friday, May 2 to Sunday, May 4, 2025, the European Tour will be back in Germany for the European Darts Grand Prix 2025. This prestigious tournament will take place at the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen and is part of the PDC European Tour, a series of 14 events across Europe.
In addition to the honor and a full house of enthusiastic fans, it is of course also about the prize money. A total of £175,000 will be distributed, with players who enter the first round in action assured of £1250. This amount eventually rises to the top prize of £30,000.

Every player who qualifies for the tournament will have a chance to get a share of the prize pool. The distribution is as follows:
Winner - £30,000
Runner-up - £12,000
Semi-finalists - £8,500
Quarter-finalists - £6,000
Third round - £4,000
Second round - £2,500*
First round - £1,250*
An important detail is that players who are automatically seeded via the Order of Merit and lose their first match will not be awarded prize money on the various rankings. This does apply to qualifiers who are later designated as seeded by the withdrawal of others.
The prize money from the European Darts Grand Prix counts not only for the world rankings and the Pro Tour Order of Merit, but especially for the European Tour Order of Merit. The latter ranking is crucial, as only the top 32 players on this list earn a ticket to the prestigious European Championship.
The higher a player finishes on the European Tour Order of Merit, the more favorable the draw for this final tournament. This means that players in Sindelfingen are not only fighting for high prize money, but also for the best possible position for the European Championship, which will take place in October.
