Ross Smith throws his second nine-dart finish of the day at Players Championship 16

After a nine-darter in the first round against Dylan Slevin, Ross Smith hit it again in the last sixteen. In his match against Chris Landman, 'Smudger' threw his second nine darter of the day.

The Englishman was trailing 0-1 against the Dutchman at the time of the perfect leg. Smith then started the second leg with two 180 scores and then completed with a 141 finish. His earlier nine darter threw 'Smudger' the same way.

After the nine-darter, Landman gained another 2-1 lead before Smith took over the initiative. He turned the deficit into a 3-2 lead and eventually triumphed 6-3.
