Ross Smith provided a stunning moment at the Autotron in Rosmalen on Tuesday by throwing a nine-darter during the fourteenth Players Championship tournament of the season.
The perfect leg came in the fifth leg of his duel against Thibault Tricole. After the first four legs of the match had all gone against the darts, Smith started the fifth leg with two 180 scores. The Englishman then secured the leg with a 141 finish.
It is his second nine-darter on Dutch soil for Smith, as the former European Championship winner also threw a leg in nine darts at the Dutch Darts Championship in 2024.
