Schedule Saturday night Baltic Sea Darts Open with Humphries, Rock, Bunting and Aspinall in action
Matt Heasley/PDC

The Baltic Sea Darts Open 2025 will be held from July 11 to 13, 2025 in the northern German city of Kiel and is considered the ninth Euro Tour tournament of the season. Yesterday the matches from the first round were finished, today the sixteen top seeds come into play.

For the past two years, the Baltic Sea Darts Open had an English final each time with Luke Humphries as runner-up. In 2023, it was Dave Chisnall who managed to take the title in northern Germany by beating Humphries 8-5 in the final. Last year Rob Cross dealt with Humphries in the final. Below you can read which eight matches are scheduled for Saturday night.

Gerwyn Price v William O'Connor

The evening will open with a duel between Gerwyn Price and William O'Connor. Price recently won the Poland Darts Masters and is one of the big favorites for the overall victory. O'Connor faced the Polish player Tytus Kanik in the first round and won 6-5. The Irishman had a poor average of 84.79, which will have to be better if he wants to beat 'The Iceman'.

Rob Cross v Andy Baetens

The second match of the evening is a friendly between Rob Cross and Andy Baetens. Cross will be looking to hone his form ahead of the World Matchplay. Baetens managed a surprising 6-4 win over Raymond van Barneveld last night. The Belgian will be hoping he can pull off another shock and reach the final day.

Stephen Bunting v Niko Springer

The third match is between Stephen Bunting and Niko Springer. Bunting recently managed to reach the final of the Poland Darts Masters, showing that he is in good form. 'The Bullet' will want to show himself ahead of the World Matchplay, where he is one of the outsiders for the title. Springer cleared relatively easily against his compatriot Kevin Troppmann on Friday night and is a dangerous customer for Bunting, as the German performs well at Euro Tour tournaments.

Luke Humphries v Mickey Mansell

In the middle of the evening it is time for the former world champion. 'Çool Hand Luke' gets to take on Mickey Mansell. Mansell was able to win on Friday afternoon against Pole Miroslaw Grudziecki. However, with an average of 84.78, he will have to do better if he wants to surprise the world number one.

Josh Rock v Justin Hood

In the fifth match of the evening, current World Cup winner Josh Rock will be in action. The Northern Irishman will play against rookie Justin Hood, who was too strong for Joe Cullen in the first round, 6-3. Rock will want to show himself ahead of the World Matchplay, where he is seen as a potential contender for the title.

Martin Schindler v Jermaine Wattimena

A Netherlands-Germany match between Martin Schindler and Jermaine Wattimena. Wattimena impressed Friday afternoon by sweeping Callan Rydz off the court 6-1 with an average of over 103. Schindler is number two on the European Tour Ranking, which shows his constancy on the Euro Tour. Should Wattimena reach the same level as Friday, the German will have a tough task ahead of the Dutchman.

Nathan Aspinall v Ricardo Pietreczko

The penultimate match is between Nathan Aspinall and Ricardo Pietreczko. The German managed to qualify for the second round on Friday night by defeating Poland's Sebastian Bialecki 6-2. Aspinall is one of the outsiders for the title at the World Matchplay, and will want to show himself in Kiel.

Chris Dobey v Dirk van Duijvenbode

The final match of the evening promises fireworks: Chris Dobey takes on Dirk van Duijvenbode. 'Aubergenius' was far too strong for Ryan Meikle on Friday night. The Dutchman threw a grand average of 105.31 and won handsomely 6-2. Dobey will be hoping he can boost his form ahead of the World Matchplay, where Van Duijvenbode will also be in action and is one of the outsiders.
