The line-up for the final night of the international pairs week at the MODUS Super Series was completed on Friday, with the last qualifying spots secured from Groups B and C.

Group B was won by Richie Burnett and Kurt Parry, who finished with 12 points, ahead of Shane McGuirk and John O’Shea on 10 points. The third and final qualifying place from the group went to Jimmy van Schie and Danny van Trijp, who finished level on eight points with Marcel Althaus and David Schlichting but advanced on leg difference.

Earlier in the week, van Schie and van Trijp had narrowly missed out on qualification from Group A, finishing second behind Scotland’s Scott Campbell and John Henderson.

In Group C, two more places in the final night were decided. England’s Mervyn King and Steve West, along with Belgium’s Brian Raman and Xanti van den Bergh, both progressed after winning seven of their 10 matches.
