It is six of the best for Luke Littler as he claimed Night 16 in Sheffield seeing off Luke Humphries to end the Premier League Darts league phase with a 6-3 win.
Littler's haul of 45 points in a new record and he finishes 11 points ahead of Luke Humphries in second while Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price also head to the O2. Michael van Gerwen misses out for only the second time in his career after a win or bust scenario.
Littler and Humphries will be the two favourites to scoop the title at the O2 so it is perhaps befitting that they faced off again and 'The Nuke' put on a show with wins over Stephen Bunting 6-1, Nathan Aspinall 6-4 and finally Luke Humphries. He hit high finishes of 155 and 170 also in the final and now will be the favourite next week.
Humphries missed 120 for the opening leg. Littler responded with a 51 checkout to break for 1-0. Littler missed 114 for 2-0 but returned for it to hold throw.
Humphries hilariously busted 120 following that after getting a leg back. He went two double 20's instead of double 10 after hitting the treble 20 as Littler wondered what happened.
Humphries got another chance and didn't miss this time making it 2-2. Littler broke back though to make it 3-2. He superbly hit 155 for 4-2 to hold throw and was two away.
He hit a superb 170 checkout which has become his trademark to break and make it 5-2 to go one away.
Humphries missed 124 for 5-3 but returned for it as Littler missed a match dart on 65. Littler was going to hit three double 20's off 120 to win it but he returned anyway for 66 to win it on double six.
