Gerwyn Price has already enjoyed a strong season on the Players Championship circuit, capturing no fewer than three titles. He also impressed in the Premier League Darts, securing a spot in the playoffs.
However, success on the European Tour has eluded "The Iceman" so far in 2025. Price has featured in five of the seven events to date but has failed to progress beyond the quarterfinals in any of them. Despite that, the Welshman remarkably holds the highest average on the Euro Tour this year.
Across 11 matches, Price boasts a tournament average of 102.81. Only two other players are averaging over 100 for the season: Luke Humphries (101.16) and Luke Littler (100.31). Like Price, Humphries is still chasing his first Euro Tour title of 2025, while Littler managed to get off the mark with victory at the Belgian Darts Open.
Three Dutch players feature in the top ten for seasonal averages on the European Tour. Michael van Gerwen averages 99.20 across 11 matches, Dirk van Duijvenbode is at 98.38 over 20 matches, and Gian van Veen has posted 97.88 across 17 matches.
One surprise name high on the list is Niko Springer. The German has matched Price and Van Gerwen in playing 11 Euro Tour matches this year and has averaged an impressive 98.66, placing him fifth overall.
In terms of finishing, Madars Razma currently leads the field with a checkout percentage of 48.84%. Luke Littler is just behind at 48.67%, although he has thrown more than twice as many darts at double.
The top five finishers are rounded out by Price (47.93%), Van Gerwen (47.73%), and Ross Smith (46.13%). Notably, Smith has already thrown 284 darts at double this season—more than the top three combined—and has converted 131 of them.
