Watch: Danny van Trijp falls off the stage during pairs match in MODUS Super Series

This week, a pair competition is being played in the MODUS Super Series, but then for Danny van Trijp, the space on the stage proved too narrow to stand with four men behind the oche.

Van Trijp had just completed his turn, in which he threw a 137 finish to win the leg with teammate Jimmy van Schie against Brian Raman and Xanti van den Bergh.

After the Dutchman removed his darts from the board and walked back to his spot at the back of the stage, Van Trijp tripped off the step. He then had to be helped upright by his compatriot Van Schie. The four men on the stage were then able to laugh at Van Trijp's unfortunate fall. Watch the remarkable video below.
