Joey Chestnut wins 14th Nathan's Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest with record 76 franks

Joey Chestnut is the "GOAT" of hot dog eating contests.

The 37-year-old competitive eater won his 14th Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest in dominant fashion, putting back a record 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes.

Chestnut out-ate second-place finisher Geoffrey Esper (50) to claim the Mustard Belt.

Chestnut has now won 14 of the last 15 hot dog eating contests since taking down Takeru Kobayashi in 2007. His only loss came in 2015 to Matt Stonie.

At the annual July Fourth event, Chestnut has eaten a record 1,089 hot dogs. He is currently ranked No. 1 in the world by Major League Eating.

Before the contest, Chestnut told ESPN (h/t USA Today) that he's "just a guy that eats hot dogs and has fun."
