20 memorable songs dealing with magic

Whether people believe in magic, artists have often been inspired to write about it — not so much regarding magicians who perform tricks like pulling a rabbit out of a hat, but more about the essence of a supernatural power, illusion, spark, or emotion that can captivate anyone's mind.

When people define "magical," they typically think of something extraordinary, otherworldly, dreamy, or enchanting. Here is a list of songs that can take listeners on a magical journey.

As Pharrell sings on the hook, “You are a magician (voilà, voilà) / You can make it happen (voilà, voilà) / So when you say abracadabra, leave me, come back as something different.”
