20 original songs from fictional shows and movies that are actually fire

Candace Flynn, voiced by Ashley Tisdale, in the Disney series Phineas & Ferb was a hoot. The older sister was obsessed with trying to get her brothers in trouble, and occasionally, she'd come up with catchy songs about their outrageous adventures. One of the best is "Busted" — a minute and 30 seconds long tune that's so infectious it'll have you singing out "B-U-S-T-E-D you are busted" every chance you get. 

Victorious was a show about high schoolers at a prestigious performing arts school in California, so it only makes sense that they'd be musical stars. Every song performed by the cast is exceptional; however, "Give It Up," featuring Ariana Grande and Liz Gilles, will always be No. 1 in my eyes.  

Raven did it all. From psychic visions to fashion designing to singing and dancing on top of lunch tables, there was never a shortage of entertaining moments from this Disney princess. In one episode, the iconic actress sang about living her best life in an original song called "Shine," which was featured during an episode of That's So Raven's second season.

Let's be real. We all know and love the surprisingly catchy track from The Fairly OddParents about taking care of your teeth. It was performed by Chip Skylark and had an entertaining music video to match!

That's So Raven's spin-off, Raven's Home, featured just as many exciting moments as the original series, including an original song all about pie! The track features groovy choreography, soothing harmonies, and soaring high notes.

I mean, how could "Take Me Away" from Freaky Friday not be featured on a list like this? It's a staple track that'll be etched into millennial brains forever.

If you haven't heard Lizzie McGuire's song "What Dreams Are Made Of" from the Disney movie, then you're really missing out. Not only is it packed with inspiring lyrics, it's a catchy tune that's been on repeat in my head since 2003.

Although Boyz In Motion's song was never officially released as part of the That's So Raven soundtrack, the minute-long snippet we got of the song during a Season 3 episode in 2005 was enough to stay in my heart (and brain) since then.

"The Campfire Song" is cheesy, yes, and also a bit chaotic. However, it's a SpongeBob SquarePants classic. So, it certainly deserves a spot here.

Another song Candace Flynn did her big one on is "SIMP," which is short for "Squirrels In My Pants." Although it sounds silly, this song about rodents invading her personal space is actually a banger.

The music on Disney's The Proud Family has always been banging...just listen to the theme song featuring Destiny's Child and Solange Knowles. However, that's not the only track with a bumping beat and catchy chorus. "Proud to Be," from the spin-off Louder and Prouder, hits just as hard and has an inspiring message.

Audience members are used to hearing the cut version of this song on iCarly, but if you give the full-length version (featuring Drake Bell) a listen, you'll understand why it's listed here. Although it's not a club banger that would hype my crew up during Y2K night, it is fun, light-hearted, and a core childhood memory.

The Drake & Josh theme song is too iconic not to have a spot here. It's a childhood classic that transports me back to the good times almost instantly. 

Another Victorious original that wowed audience members is "Freak the Freak Out." Victoria Justice performed it during a Season 1 episode, and in addition to its catchy chorus, it has a funky dance break that makes listening to it 10 times better.

Like the Drake & Josh theme song, Selena Gomez delivered nothing but greatness with the Wizards of Waverly Place opening credits track.

Although this movie was somewhat corny, its one redeeming factor was Lindsay Lohan's performance of the finale song, "Drama Queen." Once you hear the chorus, you'll see why. 

Corbin Bleu had one chance to shine when he starred in the DCOM Jump In!, and he did exactly that. The movie's lead single, "Push It To The Limit," a funky hip-hop track, felt completely different from the other Disney songs that were out during the time. Not only did he provide fantastic vocals, but he slayed the eight-count dance moves, too. Perhaps that's why it'll always be one of the network's most popular songs.

Big Time Rush actually had several tracks that fans loved, but their 2010 hit, "Worldwide," takes the cake for me. When you listen, I'm sure it'll do the same for you.

"Hero" is another cheesy love song from a Disney Channel Original Movie, but the lyrics, melody, and harmonies would have you thinking it's a Billboard Hot 100 classic.

The Cheetah Girls have several bangers, but "Strut" became one of the group's most iconic since its release in 2006. Plus, it's one track that can give listeners a much-needed confidence boost. That's a win for me!
