Doja Cat's 2023 hip-hop single "Paint The Town Red" is just one of her many viral hits. Thanks to TikTok and other social media platforms, Doja snagged another No. 1 on the Hot 100 and a ton of hype to go along with it. It received a Grammy nomination in 2024 for Best Pop Solo Performance.
"FTCU" off of Nicki Minaj's album, Pink Friday 2, went viral on TikTok because of the fun lyrics ("high heels on my tippies") and accompanying dance.
Olivia Rodrigo's "Driver's License" was everywhere in 2020 thanks to TikTok and X, formerly known as Twitter. The song went No. 1 in many countries, including the United States. It also scored Rodrigo several accolades, including a Grammy and MTV Video Music Award.
You couldn't go a day on TikTok without hearing Good Neighbours' single "Home." It was teased for quite some time and released in January 2024. The song reached No. 77 on the Hot 100 and No. 9 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.

Bridgit Mendler hasn't recorded new music since her EP, Nemesis, was released in 2016. But that hasn't stopped her old music from making its rounds. Her 2012 single, "Hurricane," went viral on TikTok in late 2023, with some videos garnering over one million likes.
When Dove Cameron released a snippet of her 2022 single "Boyfriend" on TikTok, she had no idea it'd go viral, snagging over four million likes in the process. However, due to the song's popularity online, she announced it would arrive early, eventually releasing it.
Just seeing this song listed, we can hear SZA's angelic voice belting out the catchy lyrics in her viral hit "Kill Bill." She sings, "I'm so mature, I got me a therapist to tell me there's other men / I don't want none, I just want you / If I can't have you, no one should."

Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage" went viral on TikTok after many users began creating dances to the song's chorus. The rapper released a remix with fellow H-Town Hottie Beyoncé shortly after, which hit No. 1 on the Hot 100. It also snagged two Grammy Awards.
Mariah Carey's "It's A Wrap" is a 2009 single that was rereleased in 2023 following its rise in popularity on TikTok. Shortly after, it reached No. 24 on the Hot R&B Songs chart.
Jesse Rutherford and his pals from The Neighbourhood experienced quite the resurgence after their 2012 single "Sweater Weather" gained much traction online. The song has over two billion streams on Spotify and over 700 million views on YouTube. "To achieve such a big milestone is hard to believe," the group's guitarist, Zach Abels told Variety. "I think for all of us, it's really hard to take in and accept it as reality."
