Some politicians like to take a break from campaigning and interacting with constituents to pursue other hobbies, like acting or spending time on a late-night show with incredible hosts. Check them out below.

Hillary Clinton on 'Watch What Happens Live'
The Journal News-USA TODAY Sports
Hillary Clinton has many guest appearances, but her time on Watch What Happens Live is one of my all-time favorites. She answered messy questions, played fun games, and did it all with a smile. She's also appeared on sketch comedy shows, including Saturday Night Live.

There have been many impersonations of Elizabeth Warren on prime-time television, but she's always been a good sport about it. She even appeared on an episode of Saturday Night Live alongside Kate McKinnon.

Colin Powell on 'Madam Secretary'
John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
Since Colin Powell was a former Secretary of State, it only made sense for him to film a scene for the CBS drama Madam Secretary. He also appeared alongside Hillary Clinton and Madeleine Albright — two former politicians who also held the position.

Barack Obama is another major politician who once popped up on an episode of Saturday Night Live. The former president attended a Halloween party that the Clintons were hosting to remind the American people that he's always himself and fighting for change.

Before anyone gets up in arms about Michelle Obama being on this list, you should know that being First Lady counts as a political position in my book. But her time with Leslie, Ann, and Ron isn't her only scripted cameo. She also made appearances on Black-ish, Saturday Night Live, and, most importantly, iCarly.

Joe Biden's scene on Parks and Recreation was brief, but man, did he kill it. While dealing with an obsessed Leslie Knope, the former Vice President showcased his comedic timing and ability to be a top-notch actor.

John McCain on 'Parks and Recreation'

Former Senator John McCain made two appearances on Parks and Recreation. My favorite was his spot in season seven when he told Leslie that her "tenacity can be intimidating."

Some say Al Gore had one of the best guest appearances on Tina Fey's comedy 30 Rock of all time, and I'd have to agree. For a former Vice President, he sure can act.

Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright was once on an episode of Gilmore Girls, where she appeared in a dream and got to snuggle up next to Rory on her birthday. In 2015, the politician tweeted about her time on the show, urging Netflix to revive it.

Anthony Scaramucci on 'Big Brother'
Michael Brochstein/Sipa USA
You'd think working in politics would've prepared Anthony Scaramucci for life inside of the Big Brother house; however, the former White House Communications Director would only last a few days before getting tossed.

John Bercow on 'The Traitors'
Euan Cherry/Peacock
This former Speaker of the House of Commons played his heart out during season two of The Traitors. Unfortunately, the 61-year-old was banished toward the end of the competition after causing too much commotion.
