Actors who are having a busy year in 2026

Pattinson has long since put the “Twilight” series behind him, and now manages to balance bold dramatic choices with blockbuster fare. Although, in 2026 he is in some headier blockbuster fare. Among his five, yes, five, films for this year are “The Odyssey” and “Dune: Part 3.” Also, he’s playing Chris Hansen, the “To Catch a Predator” host.

Fittingly, Zendaya and Pattinson starred together in 2026’s “The Drama,” a movie that is easily spoiled so we shall say no more. These two overlap a lot, as Zendaya is also in “The Odyssey” and “Dune: Part 3.” Then, of course, there is yet another Spider-Man movie for her to be in. At least this will all distract everybody from the last season of “Euphoria.”

We’re sticking with connected threads, as Hathaway plays Penelope in “The Odyssey,” a movie nobody is being weird about. She will also be in five (possibly six, though unlikely) 2026 movies. Hathaway is even triple-featuring the summer season, adding “The Devil Wears Prada 2” and “The End of Oak Street” into the mix.

Domingo has four films being released in 2026, though he definitely gets a boost from being in two prominent movies. Sure, “Disclosure Day” maybe didn’t do as well as hoped, but everybody has to be happy with how well “Michael” did. Well, everybody who stands to profit from it, at least.

“Animal Friends” was moved from this summer to January 2027 (which probably means it’s terrible), but fret not, Momoa lovers. You still get four films from him this year. Although two have already come out…and they are “The Wrecking Crew” and “Supergirl.” So…enjoy?

Grace is only 20, but the last two years she’s been incredibly busy. Now, one of her movies this year is voice work, so you won’t see her in the “Paw Patrol” movie. But she’s also in the latest “Scream” and the latest “Hunger Games,” plus a couple more. That includes “Slanted,” whose movie poster will stick with you.

Busy can mean TV, and it can mean roles where you are yourself as a host. McHale has multiple active TV shows, including the sitcom “Animal Control,” which aired its fourth season in 2026. On top of that, though, he added two movies, and he is also in “Scream 7” like Grace.

The delay of “Coyote vs. Acme” got Cena to three movies in 2026. Of course, in addition to not being afraid to be in commercials (which we aren’t counting because then this list might just be Walton Goggins 20 times), though Cena retired as a wrestler at the end of 2025, he still has ties to WWE. To that end, he was the “host” for WrestleMania 42 this year.

Yes, three of Rogen’s 2026 roles are voice work, but he also has a distinctive voice. You hear him, and you say, “Hey, that’s Seth Rogen!” Then, in addition to two live-action movie roles, Rogen appeared as himself in the “Muppet Show” special.

Condor came onto the scene as the star of the “To All the Boys” series for Netflix, but hasn’t quite figured out her career since then. Maybe 2026 is the year things turn around for her. She has three movies this year, though one of them is “Coyote vs. Acme.” Condor also had a new TV role! Oh, wait, she was just doing a guest turn as her character from “To All the Boys.” Well, she was still on TV.

The fourth season of “Jack Reacher,” which stars Ritchson, airs in 2026, and a fifth and final season has been announced this year as well. His movie career is on the rise as well, though. He has four films this year, including a Christmas action-comedy that features Arnold Schwarzenegger as Santa Claus. Hey, why not?

Wilson has been doing TV for a bit, which leads one to wonder whether his movie career is winding down. He hasn’t even been in the last couple of Wes Anderson movies! However, he has four films this year. One of them, “Runner,” he stars in with Ritchson, though that one doesn’t seem likely to be good or successful. He also is in the “Meet the Parents” legacy sequel “Focker-in-Law.” Hmm…maybe TV is the place to be.

Huller, a German actress, made her first splash on American audiences when she was in two Oscar darlings the same year, “Anatomy of a Fall” and “The Zone of Interest.” Those were both heady, foreign films, though. In 2026, Huller is in four movies, five including a documentary, and two of them are splashy American films. “Project Hail Mary” has already hit, and later in 2026 she has the Tom Cruise-led “Digger” on the docket.

Tillman did not arrive at notability until later in his career, but thanks to “Severance,” he’s now an Emmy winner and a known quantity. In 2026, that is manifesting itself for the first time. He has four films on the schedule, including “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” the year after a small role in the last “Mission: Impossible” movie.

Speaking of “Mission: Impossible,” Ferguson has wrapped up that franchise, and she will wrap up another in 2026 with “Dune: Part 3.” However, she is also in “The Magic Faraway Tree,” which looks horrible, and “Mercy,” which is horrible. People liked the “Peaky Blinders” movie, though, so we’ll call 2026 a busy break-even for Ferguson.

“Stranger Things” is over, but Harbour isn’t any less busy. He’s playing Red Guardian again (probably for, like two minutes, but still). He’s playing Santa again. Additionally, Harbour starred in an HBO miniseries. In 2027 he is in the “Rambo” reboot, which is to say that maybe without “Stranger Things” to work on Harbour will be popping up in more places.
