Adam Sandler Makes Huge Promise to Derrick Henry

Adam Sandler has some of the most iconic movies in history, with his funny style and incredible cast members alongside him. Happy Gilmore 2 is coming out July 25 of this year.

Former Alabama Crimson Tide and now Baltimore Ravens star running back Derrick Henry has been talked about going on a Sandler film from Dan Patrick.

Sandler responded by sending Henry a video saying if he reaches 2,000 rushing yards this fall, not only will Sandler have him in a movie, but he will also take the star running back out for dinner.

"We can talk about Dan Patrick's facial hair, and how hard it is for him to grow it," joked Sandler.

In Sandler fashion, he was cracking jokes throughout the entire video, including how he looked rough because he had just woken up.

An 'Adam Sandler' movie with Henry would be a must-see. Whether they go the route of making sequels and incorporate Henry into a Longest Yard remake, or just do a raunchy comedy, it will certainly be a hilarious film.

Henry is coming off one of his best seasons as a pro, and in his first season with Baltimore, he ran for 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns. His 16 rushing touchdowns led the NFL.

He has only encompassed the 2,000 rushing yard mark once, in his Offensive Player of the Year season in 2020 with the Tennessee Titans. He has every chance to do so again with Baltimore this year, and now has higher stakes to do just that.

All eyes will be on Henry, who just signed a two year contract extension with the Ravens earlier in the offseason, as he looks to make fans' dreams come true with a movie appearance with Sandler.
