Adele has earned herself a legion of fans around the world with her booming, evocative singing voice since debuting with 19 in 2008.
Her 9-year-old son, Angelo, is not among them.
The 15-time Grammy winner was explaining to Zane Lowe how she doesn't care about catering to TikTok and commodifying her music to appeal to a younger generation when she burst out in her signature laugh and admitted, "I mean, Angelo's not a fan of mine."
Adele added that Angelo, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, associates the term "rolling in the deep" not with her 2010 Grammy-winning smash by the same name but with Masked Wolf's "Astronaut In The Ocean."
"He doesn't really care," she added. "It's great."
On Sunday night (Nov. 14), Adele took a moment during her set for the two-hour CBS primetime special Adele One Night Only to point out that Angelo was in the audience watching her perform for the first time:

With Lowe, Adele clarified that 30, her fourth studio album dropping Friday (Nov. 19), is "for my son, for Angelo," and there is a track titled "My Little Love" that is explicitly about Angelo.
In Adele's cover story for Vogue, it was revealed that "My Little Love" features "snippets of conversations she had with Angelo" that were "recorded at her therapist's suggestion" during what she dubbed her "Year of Anxiety" surrounding her divorce from Konecki.
"I knew I had to tell [Angelo's] story in a song," Adele told Lowe of the day she wrote "My Little Love" in Los Angeles, "because it was clear he was feeling [the ramifications of her unhappiness], even though I thought I was doing a very good job of being like, 'Everything's fine!' I also knew I wasn't being as present. I was present, like, in real life, but I wasn't really there. I was just so consumed by so many things, so many different feelings, and he plucked up the courage to very articulately say to me, you're basically a ghost. You might as well not be here. ... For him to be a little one and say, 'I can't see you,' to my face broke my heart."
