Alex Garland’s Civil War Gets Action-Packed New Trailer

The second trailer for Civil War from director Alex Garland has landed, and it is action-packed, ominous and epic in scale.

Civil War is an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride about a near-future fractured America balanced on the razor's edge starring Jesse Plemons, Nick Offerman, Kirsten Dunst, Cailee Spaeny, Wagner Moura and Stephen McKinley Henderson.

Due to hit theaters on April 26, the film is from the director of Men, Annihilation and the Oscar-nominated Ex Machina.

While the extended first trailer previewed a hint at the action, this new teaser leans all the way in, showing a country torn by civil war while a sinister whistle echoes in the background.

Garland's previous work has always been well received by critics, so there are big expectations that this latest addition to his filmography will have the same impact.
