AMC Theaters Will Have Half Off Tickets on Both Tuesday and Wednesday

AMC Theaters has announced it’s expanding its Discount Tuesday promotion to Wednesday. Starting now AMC Stubs rewards program members can get all movie tickets half off off on both days. That applies all day to all movies, even for those enrolled in AMC Stubs free tier. You just sign into your Stubs account online or show your membership at a ticket booth. The discount will even apply if you buy your tickets through Fandango or Atom Tickets. You’ll just need to punch in your AMC Stubs account when you make your purchase through those vendors.

The half off sale on Tuesday and Wednesday also applies to these things called “movie snacks.” AMC Stubs members can get a small popcorn with a small fountain drink (or ICEE) for 50% off, too.

While Discount Days includes all regular movies, special events “are not eligible.” That includes things like screenings of “fan events, private screenings, movie marathons, double features, Fathom Events, Metropolitan Opera, sporting events, select showtimes of certain foreign language films, and other events that are priced above standard ticket price.” And while customers will still get 50% off their base ticket for premium format experiences, a surcharge will still apply for showins in Dolby Cinema, IMAX, PRIME, and RealD 3D.

My recommendation? Don’t worry about the surcharge. See all the movies in all the ways. Movies are the best. And they’re the best on the biggest screen. The only thing that can make them even better is getting to see them for half the price.
