Hannah Waddingham: Biscuits on ‘Ted Lasso’ actually tasted terrible

The "Ted Lasso" plot is deliciously rich, but the famous biscuits baked by Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) did not taste as good as they appeared.

"Any biscuit is better than the season one biscuits," Hannah Waddingham, who stars as AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton in the acclaimed Apple TV Plus series, asserted while visiting "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Wednesday night.

Kimmel then presented Waddingham with biscuits packaged exactly as they are in Ted Lasso, in a tiny pink box, and the former "Game of Thrones" actress happily scarfed one down.

"I mean, just immediately better [than the biscuits used in season one]," she said. "Although, the ones from season two, I think because I have complained about them so globally, they've added a lot of butter and a lot of sugar, and that's always gonna make things better.

"It was my own fault," the 47-year-old continued after Kimmel asked if the biscuits were baked or store-brought. "Season one, I was meant to be eating the biscuits because there's a whole thing about eventually—if there's any spoiler alert here—Ted's making them. But they didn't expect me to go at them like a truffle hound because I decided that Rebecca should be like an emotional eater. ... And then at the end of the take, they were like, 'Do you want, like, a spit bucket?' And I just thought, no, that's very inelegant. I just constantly went with them, so it's not really their fault. I did add it as quite a thing."
