Stiller emphasized on social media that he remains actively involved with 'Severance,' though he will no longer direct episodes. The news originated in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, where he noted, “These things take time to come together, and the older you get, the more you realize that you only have so much time.”
Stiller is keeping busy outside the Apple TV+ drama. He is set to appear in an upcoming 'Meet the Parents' sequel, recently completed a documentary about his parents that also led him to reflect on his own marriage, and will star in the HBO series 'The Band.' He is also developing a film about former Vice President Spiro Agnew, based on Rachel Maddow’s podcast 'Bag Man,' and plans to direct a World War II survival drama next spring.
