Billie Eilish revealed the truth behind rumours of a feud with her brother Finneas.
Rumours of a falling out between the pop star and her longtime collaborator started after Finneas didn't take part in his sister's Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour - which kicked off in September 2024 and concluded in November 2025 - but Bad Guy singer Billie Eilish is adamant her brother's absence has nothing to do with bad blood between the pair as they have never had a "falling-out" and their squabbles are just "sibling s***".
She told ELLE magazine: "I heard somebody say: 'Did you guys hear Finneas and Billie had a falling-out?' Finneas and I have never and will never have a falling-out, ever in our lives.
"We’ll get in the biggest f****** fight you’ve ever heard of in your life … and five minutes later, we’re back, laughing and making music. It’s sibling s***. There’s nothing else in the world like sibling relationships."
Finneas also took part in the interview and he explained part of the reason behind his absence from the tour was that he doesn't enjoy life on the road, but he insisted he loves performing with Billie and he missed her while she was away.
He told the publication: "It’s basically true that I don’t like touring, but I love the show part of it. And I love being around Billie. This past year, when she would be on tour for months, I missed her a lot."
Billie Eilish - who releases her concert movie Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D) next month - went on to add that she would struggle to write music without her brother's input but she hopes they are able to have some separation in the future.
She added: "If I never saw Finneas at all, I might literally never make a song again ... But how do we move on and have separate lives?"
The revelations come after Billie Eilish enjoyed a special moment at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California earlier this month when her childhood hero Justin Bieber pulled her up onto the stage to serenade her with his song One Less Lonely Girl.
Billie Eilish's mother Maggie Baird later thanked Justin Bieber for making her daughter's "dream come true".
In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "One of the most touching moments ever. "It sounds crazy, but we watch our children develop these deep deep connections to artists who move them and usually there’s nothing in our power to do.
"But we buy them records and maybe buy them a ticket to a concert (or a movie of a concert in our case because we couldn’t afford to see an actual concert).
"Watching this crazy unimaginable dream come true over many years is so incredible. I’m so grateful to Justin Bieber for the kindness he has shown Billie and to our whole family and to [Justin's wife] Hailey who makes so many things wonderful and possible."
