Just like it happened with Michael Oher, Quinton Aaron, the actor who played the retired tackle on the “The Blind Side” movie, also saw his life take a 180-degree turn unexpectedly.

Aaron, 41, collapsed and was hospitalized in Atlanta back in January. He was placed on life support after suffering a spinal stroke, which his family later confirmed.

That might not be the biggest shock of the situation. Aaron found out about heartbreaking news about who he thought was his wife.

Quinton Aaron Finds Out Wife Was Married To Another Man

In an interview with ABC News, Quinton Aaron said that, after waking up from a four-day coma, he learned that his wife, Margarita DeLeon, was still legally married to another man.

“The entire time we were together, she told me she had been divorced for 10 plus years,” he said. “She even told the person where we were getting married, ‘Oh yes, I have all the documents. I can email over to you the divorce decree.'”

Aaron added that doctors removed DeLeon from his hospital room since she couldn’t legally make medical decisions on his behalf. A lawyer uncovered records proving that the woman was still married to a man she had wed in 1992.

DeLeon responded on “Good Morning America,” saying that she was unaware her divorce had not been finalized. She and Aaron got married in 2024.
