Jimmy McGill is back.
Bob Odenkirk, who has starred as the titular McGill in Breaking Bad spinoff series Better Call Saul since 2015, shared a photo of his return to the set after suffering a heart attack while filming the sixth and final season in late July:
Back to work on Better Call Saul! So happy to be here and living this specific life surrounded by such good people. BTW this is makeup pro Cheri Montesanto making me not ugly for shooting! pic.twitter.com/lTAfPg7dDp

TMZ was the first to report Odenkirk had been "rushed to the hospital after collapsing" on the Better Call Saul set in New Mexico on July 27. It was confirmed the following day when an unnamed representative for the 58-year-old actor, comedian, director, producer and writer told The Hollywood Reporter that he was "in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident."
Odenkirk provided the official update on his "small heart attack" July 30:
I had a small heart attack. But I'm going to be ok thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who knew how to fix the blockage without surgery.

Also, AMC and SONYs support and help throughout this has been next-level. I'm going to take a beat to recover but I'll be back soon.
Odenkirk first played Saul Goodman, sleazy lawyer to Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), in Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul is the prequel that explores the events of criminal lawyer Jimmy McGill before he became Saul Goodman at his law office in a strip mall. Both series were created by Vince Gilligan.
Better Call Saul's final season is expected to premiere on AMC in early 2022.
