Callaway is selling an awesome Happy Gilmore putter in a marketing move working in conjunction with the movie.
“Happy Gilmore” is a 1996 movie that was written by and starred Adam Sandler in the titular role as a hockey player-turned-golfer. In the film, Gilmore would putt using a hockey stick-looking putter.
A sequel for the movie is set to be released by Netflix on July 25, and golf merchandise manufacturer Callaway partnered with Netflix and “Happy Gilmore 2” on some co-branded promotional items. They are selling three awesome items related to the original film.
The items include golf balls saying “Just tap it in,” balls that say “It’s All in the Hips,” and the hockey stick putter.

The hockey stick putter was priced at $499 but already had sold out as of Friday. The balls were priced at $59 and still available.
The price seems pretty steep, but it didn’t stop some fans from stocking up. Though, there was one big complaint — the putter wasn’t built for lefties. Rumor has it that the left-handed putters will be available at the 9th green at 9.
