Carrie Underwood, the country music singer and "American Idol" judge, unveiled a new look this week.

The 43-year-old "Sunday Night Football" intro singer is gearing up for another year. She's in the middle of "American Idol" taping, too.

Underwood, who is married to former NHL player Mike Fisher, unveiled her new look on Instagram.

Some, though, have accused Underwood - who performed at President Trump's inauguration - of being Mar-A-Lago-fied.

“Carrie Underwood MAGAfied,” one critic wrote on social media.

“In social media photos, Carrie Underwood’s eyebrows are thick and overdrawn, her lips look overfilled, and she’s wearing heavy, Mar-a-Lago-style makeup,” another shared.

“OMG. Carrie Underwood has been Magafied,” one added. “Wow. Sad!”

"You can tell Carrie Underwood is really a MAGA ," one shared.

Underwood has long been a fan favorite in the country music world

It's rare to see Underwood facing backlash - and, for a woman, it's incredibly unfair and inappropriate for fans to be critical of an appearance.

But this is where we're at in 2026.

Underwood's political decisions are impacting how people view her, like it or not, and fans are expressing backlash over her new look in May.
