‘Celebrity Weakest Link’ Renewed for Season 2 on Fox — Everything We Know

Don’t say “goodbye” to Celebrity Weakest Link because the game show is coming back for another season. The celebrity version of Weakest Link premiered in 2025 and featutred famous faces who played for charity.

Weakest Link was revived in 2020 with host Jane Lynch. It was a reboot of the NBC show that premiered in 2001 with Anne Robinson as host, which was canceled in 2003. However, in 2025, the game show aired only a celebrity version, and it was on Fox instead of NBC. According to Nielsen, Season 1 of Celebrity Weakest LInk brought in an average of 1.432 million viewers.

Weakest Link features a team of contestants who try to complete a chain of correct answers to general knowledge questions within a certain time limit. At the end of each round, one person is considered the “weakest link” by either answering questions wrong or not banking money. The contestants vote on who the weakest link is, prompting Lynch to tell that person, “You are the weakest link. Goodbye!”

However much money is banked at the end of the round goes into the contestant’s total pot, and one person wins at the end. On the celebrity version, the money goes to a charity of the winner’s choice.
