Dave Chappelle hilariously crashed Michael Che's appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

It was two-for-one night on Thursday's Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Saturday Night Live's Michael Che virtually visited the show under the guise of promoting his new HBO Max sketch comedy series That Damn Michael Che, but as soon as the 38-year-old "Weekend Update" fixture mentioned it, Dave Chappelle popped in to promote his new podcast The Midnight Miracle.

Che was at Chappelle's house in Ohio, so Kimmel was presumably always going to make sure Chappelle featured in this segment, but it was Chappelle's expert comedic timing that made the whole thing feel nonchalant and unplanned.

It's almost as if Dave Chappelle is one of the best comedians to ever live.

The trio discussed the outdoor Dave Chappelle & Friends stand-up comedy events the 47-year-old icon has been organizing in Ohio before eventually getting to Che's new series, which debuted May 6, but Chappelle returned to deliver yet another final punch line.

"I have a weird gift story," he said. "I'm so sorry to interrupt. But it's a good one. Years ago, when I was doing Chappelle Show, it was Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs's birthday. Guess what I bought him for his birthday? What do you give a guy that has everything? A Sean John sweatsuit!"
