DC’s Creature Commandos First Image Revealed

DC has revealed the first image of upcoming animated series Creature Commandos.

The show is set to kick off the new-look DC Cinematic Universe, months before James Gunn’s Superman kicks it into high gear (Chris Pratt was spotted on the set of Superman). With it, we enter Phase 1, which DC is calling Gods and Monsters.

As you can see, the image shows off the assembled super-powered beings who’ll star in the series. These are, from left to right, Rick Flag Sr., Nina Mazursky, Doctor Phosphorus, as Eric Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein, G.I. Robot, and Weasel, who was last seen in 2021's Suicide Squad.

Frank Grillo stars as Rick Flag Sr., father of Suicide Squad’s Rick Flag, as played by Joel Kinnaman in Suicide Squad. That’s alongside Maria Bakalova, Indira Varma, Zoë Chao, Alan Tudyk, David Harbour, Sean Gunn, and Steve Age.

The seven-episode series premiers on Max in December 2024.
