EGGO Turns Breakfast Upside Down With STRANGER THINGS Strawberry Waffles
EGGO Turns Breakfast Upside Down With STRANGER THINGS Strawberry Waffles_1 Eggo

Stranger Things brought the Upside Down to Hawkins. It also brought Eggo Waffles to Netflix. Now Eggo is bringing the Upside Down to your breakfast table with a first-of-its-kind flavor. But don’t worry, because while Eggo Stranger Things Strawberry Waffles might look like Demogorgon food, they taste really good.

Eggo is celebrating the long-awaited return of Stranger Things with a new breakfast option. It turned its famous frozen food “upside down” with the new limited-edition Eggo Stranger Things Strawberry Waffles. Eggo says the waffles “bold, naturally colored red hue is a nod” to the show’s dark dimension. They also come in a special Stranger Things 5 box. You can also pick up a box of regular Eggo Frozen Waffles in matching Stranger Things package.

The color of the waffles makes them looks like they really did come from an evil parallel world. They have a deep, dark color that looks more like raspberries. But these are definitely strawberry waffles. Eggo sent us a box to try them and you can smell the strawberry as soon as you open the bag. That’s the dominant flavor. The strawberry flavor isn’t overpowering, though. This is a well-balanced waffle that is slightly softer than the company’s normal fare. (Which is why you might want to toast them a smidge longer than you typically heat up your Eggo Waffles.)

You can grab your Eggo Stranger Things Strawberry Waffles at select stores nationwide this month while supplies last. A box of 10 has a suggested retail price of $3.59.

Since Stranger Things 5: Volume One doesn’t debut until November 26, make sure you grab an extra box to store in the back of the freezer. Stranger Things wouldn’t be the same without either the Upside Down or Eggo Waffles. What better way to watch the show’s final season than with a food that celebrates both?
