Euphoria Season 3: Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Hunter Schafer Confirmed To Return

Euphoria season three has been coming, then going, then coming again for a while, but the CEO at HBO, Casey Bloys, has dropped an update in a brand new exclusive interview with Variety.

When asked about the latest on the next chapter of Euphoria, Bloys said, "Sam [Levinson] is working on it. There's been a lot of back and forth".

Bloys then went on to detail what has been delaying the season, saying, "One of the issues I think that Sam is thinking about is that he doesn't want to have it in high school anymore. That's where it was set and what made sense then."

He added, "When you take it out of that, there's a lot of back and forth about where to set it and how far in the future to set it and all that stuff. But I think he's got a take that he's excited about, and he's busy writing."

Not only is the show still in development, but an exciting announcement about the cast came with the update: "It's the same core cast", Bloys said.

That means Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney and Hunter Schafer will be back for the new season despite the fact their careers have skyrocketed over the last few years.

However, that is all there is to report, as the developments have been few and far between since the initial announcement of a third season was made.
