The Fantastic Four: First Steps is just a few days away, and it will usher in Marvel Phase 6. Phase 6 promises to be an exciting new era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially since it will feature the return of the Avengers. Let’s take a look at every confirmed theatrical project for Marvel Phase 6.
Here is every confirmed theatrical Phase 6 movie, according to TheGamer+.
Starring Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, this movie follows the iconic quartet in a face-off against the planet-eating Galactus. Mr. Fantastic and his wife, The Invisible Woman, also have a baby to contend with. The movie takes place in a retro-futuristic world separate from the MCU’s main universe, but the two worlds will undoubtedly meet at some point in the future.
At the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, everyone forgot about Tom Holland‘s delightful Peter Parker. After such a downer of an ending, it will be a treat to see how the web-slinger rebuilds his life. Since this is the first MCU Spider-Man movie without the word “home” in the title, this film represents a new start for Spider-Man. Supposedly, the Hulk and the Punisher will have roles in the film.
Fans were devastated when Tony Stark died in Avengers: Endgame. However, the MCU hasn’t seen the last of Robert Downey Jr. In Avengers: Doomsday, he will be playing Dr. Doom, the Fantastic Four’s longtime nemesis. The Avengers will have to get back together to face off against Dr. Doom’s threats, though little else is known about the plot. However, it is known that Mr. Fantastic will be leading the Avengers this time around.
Marvel Phase 6 will conclude with Avengers: Secret Wars, which is presumably the conclusion to the story begun in Avengers: Doomsday. The plot is currently unknown, but since there are two Marvel comic storylines titled Secret Wars, there’s a lot of material for fans to speculate about.
Since there are several Marvel movies and shows in various stages of development, yes, there will be a Phase 7. Phase 7 could include projects such as Doctor Strange 3 or Shang-Chi 2, or those projects could still show up in Marvel Phase 6. For now, let’s sit back and enjoy Marvel Phase 6. It promises to be an exciting ride.
